Spindlie Content Creation: Structure Your Content to Make it Drop-in-Ready
10 Typical Steps of Content Creation
Whether you're a small business owner, a content services provider, a web design company or an SEO agency, these are our collective "pains". Before content can be added to a blog or web page, there are typically 10 steps we have to go through.
They Are:
- Perform keyword and subject matter research.
- Write the content - the "core" article.
- Edit, check, proofread the content.
- Optimize for keyword concentration and check word count.
- Split up the content into appropriate paragraphs and assign proper heading tags - the html part. (Whether you're using a visual editor or code, it still has to be done.)
- Localize the content to a specific geographic area by making reference to the city, county and state in the body - unless it's a national site.
- Brand the content to a specific company in the content body.
- Create spun versions - crazy not to, since you'll be able to use the content in whole, in part, or in combination with other content for posts, guest posts, networks, other clients, etc..
- Insert and adjust images for margin and alignment.
- Post and publish the finished web page.
Typically, all of these steps require the use of (and familiarity with) several online and offline tools, passing the content between them, and often requiring that the content is handled by several different people at the various stages. This process can get expensive in both hard costs by paying for 3rd party services, as well as in time (whether yours as a business owner or your employee's).
This is what we did too, and it's exactly why we created Spindlie. As they say, "necessity is the mother of invention".
What If You Could Collapse the Content Creation Process & Cost By About 90%?
You can, by:
- Reducing the number of platforms used in the process
- Reducing the number of times the content is handled
- Reducing the number of people involved in it's creation
- Performing the tasks concurrently, on one platform, and by one person
One person focused on content creation, becoming proficient in your new process, could drop your costs and delivery time by up to 90%.
This person could be the business owner, a staff member (if you run an agency), or even a VA thousands of miles away with only a "good" grasp of colloquial English.
Segments of the Content Creation Process That Can Be Completed On Spindlie Alone
There are 2 approaches to creating content on Spindlie.
This is one option. Ultimately, it depends on your preference and/or your target market. Of the 10 steps outlined above, only # 1 and # 10 cannot be performed on Spindlie.
First Approach
- Writing content can be done using the Content Preview tool.
- Editing and checking can also be done in the Content Preview tool.
- Verify your keyword concentration and word count using the Spindlie Density Checker tool.
- Assigning headings and paragraphs, as well as inserting images can also be done in the Content Preview tool, using the visual editor then use the code, which is automatically created, to move to the next step.
- Replace any reference to a specific city, town or state with our standard "Placeholders" for use in the Keyword Customizer tool.
- Replace any reference to a specific company or brand with our standard "Placeholders" for use in the Keyword Customizer tool. Steps 4 & 5 will let you use the same content (when spun) on different pages, for different purposes, for different brands and for different locations! (Make sure to save your original content AND the spintax to create variations for multiple brands and locations).
- Place the content into the SmartSpintax tool and apply one of the two methods to create your spintax - all the html will also be applied to the spintax. Now you have access to an infinite number of possibilities to use the content in a myriad of ways, as I mentioned above.
- Move the spintax content over to the Spintax Checker tool. Here, your spintax will be checked for errors, you can find out the maximum number of variations available - and most importantly - how many of the maximum will be 95%+ unique.
- Create as many final variations as you like using the Spintax Checker tool.
- Drop it into your blog or web page.
Second Approach
Depending on the market and the type of content you're after, you can leverage the powers of Spindlie's Creator tool.
You can 100% customize the content in Creator for keywords, branding and geographic locations. Also, all spintax is concurrently provided for the selected content.
In Creator, you first assemble complete content by topics you can search for. For example, you may be writing content about the cost of services, about guarantees, quality of service etc.. You can select entire sentences - and even paragraphs, and simply assemble your content in a few clicks.
Once you have your content assembled, take both the original sentence and the spintax over to the Keyword Customizer tool.
Here, you can customize your content from within Creator with your own keywords, branding and geographic location names.
